About Sushi - ERC20
SUSHI is a governance token that enables community governance over SushiSwap and it offers SUSHI rewards to those who stake their tokens. The idea of SushiSwap was launched as a fork of UniSwap and it is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that allows users to swap cryptocurrency for another cryptocurrency without the need of a centralized intermediary. It is considered decentralized because no single entity controls the protocol and it is operated by smart contracts to operate as an automated market maker (AMM) for any given pair of tokens. For adding liquidity to an automated market maker network participants are rewarded via its in-house token SUSHI.
